Maria Garcia

Maria Garcia, 55, of Pecos,TX, passed away on February 28, 2021 in Pecos, TX.

Maria was born in Ojinaga to Zacharias Garcia and Luciana Rodriguez on August 2, 1965, as one of six children . Maria moved to Pecos, TX at age 14 and then met her husband, Jesus Orosco at age 16. Maria spent her life devoted to her husband, her children, and her grandchildren, and her Lord, Jesus Christ. She was a hard worker and lived each day as a testament of her faith.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother, Rogelio Garcia, and her sisters, Maria de Jesus Quezada and Pilar Garcia.

Maria survived by her children: Jesus (Tonia) Orosco , Alex (Gina) Orosco Julio (Alina) Orosco, and Sandra (Tony) Flores; her grandchildren: Abigail, Zachary, Zared, and Zaylen Orosco, Cailey and Marianna Glover, Lillian and Samuel Orosco, Kailynn Orosco, Brianna Villalobos, Delilah and Jryan Flores; her sisters: Janie Martinez, Socorro Muñoz, and Sylvia Gonzalez as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Pallbearers will be Julio Orosco, Jorge Muñoz, Jorge Muñoz, Jr., Abraham Gonzalez, Alberto Gonzalez, and Gustavo Enriquez.

Visitation will be 9 am to 8 pm, Thursday, March 4th and 9 am to 2 pm, Friday, March 5th at the Peaceful Garden Funeral Home in Pecos, TX.

A prayer service will be given on Thursday, March 4th at the Peaceful Garden Funeral Home with Pastor David Sandoval officiating. A rosary will follow at 7 pm.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 5th at 1:30 pm at the Peaceful Garden Funeral Home with Pastor David Sandoval officiating.

The burial will be immediately following at Greenwood Cemetery.

Due to COVID-19 Pandemic 75 immediate family members, masks and social distancing is required at all times.
