Adam Martinez Salcido 73, formerly of Pecos passed away Wednesday May 8, 2019 at his residence in Odessa.
He was born April 18, 1946 in Balmorhea, Texas to Jose H Salcido and Maria Anita Martinez. He was a disabled U. S. Army veteran and a Roman catholic. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Camilo and Jimmy Salcido. Adam loved listening to his James Brown music and most of all he loved taking some crazy adventures all around Odessa on the E-Z rider bus all on the expense of $10.
Adam is survived by his daughter Brandy Salcido and husband Felix Hernandez of Odessa, Tx. Sons Joe Montoya, Adam Salcido Jr, James Salcido and wife Liza Ramos all of Odessa, Tx. sister Alicia Salcido of Pecos, Tx. brothers Jose Salcido Jr. Manuel Salcido and wife Francis all of Pecos, Tx.
Mr. Salcido also leaves to cherish his memories 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren along with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Adam was a United States Army veteran.
Visitation is set for Sunday May 12, 2019 from 3:00 pm-9:00 pm and Monday May 13, 2019 from 9:00am-9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:30 pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.
Mass has been set for 10:00 AM Tuesday May 14, 2019 at Santa Rosa Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at Greenwood cemetery.
Services are the direction of Pecos Funeral Home.
