Alejandro B. Salcido Jr. 58 years old was born on July 7th, 1966 he went to be with the Lord on December 30th, 2024 in Pecos, Texas. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our brother Alex Jr. who was a lifelong Pecos resident and a Catholic. He started working in the oilfield and the oil rigs. He was also a reflexologist and was a truck driver for many years, building a life full of hard work and dedication. Alex was a kind man with the biggest heart, he could never turn away a stray dog or cat, materialistic things did not matter to him, he only wanted to be around family. Alex enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers with his dad. He also loved spending time with his children and his family. His hobbies were working on his Father's land with a tractor, playing pool, darts, dominoes and listening to music, especially KISS.
Alex is preceded in death by his parents, Angela Salcido and Alejandro Salcido Sr., and his niece, Heather LaReece Jasso.
Alex is survived by his two children, Annie Salcido and Joseph Salcido, ex-wife Debra Ramirez of Pecos, Tx., they were married for 23 years. His sisters, Kathy Torres (Andy) of Midland and Lori Asbury (John) of Monahans; his nieces and nephews, Trisha (Mardin), Andy II (Amanda), Kimberly (Drew), and Christie (Zeke); and his great nieces and nephews, Kiana, Demi, and Danika Rickard, Ava and Tres Torres, and Roman Haile.
A rosary will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, January 6th at the Pecos Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 7th, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church at 10:00 AM., followed by a burial at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Filiberto Gonzales Jr., Francisco Sotelo Jr., Jason Lopez, Eulogio Carrasco Jr., Robert Rodriguez, and Sammy Carrasco.
Alex will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
