Alicia Leyva

Alicia Olga Leyva, age 83, of Pecos, Texas passed away on June 15, 2018 at her home.

Visitation will be at Pecos Funeral Home on Sunday, June 17, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Monday June 18, 2018 from 9:00 am to 9:00 PM
Rosary will be held on Monday, June 18, at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel at 7:30 p.m.

Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Olga was born in Mexico to Manuel and Luz Carrasco on January 18,1935. She was married to Jose B. Castillo until his death on June 30, 1976. They were married for 24 years. Four children were born from this union.

In 1977, Olga married Baldemar Leiba. Upon her death, they had been married for 41 years.

Olga was lovingly known as "Memo" by all her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and friend to many. Olga was known for her wit and excellent cooking. She was a member of the Guadalupanas at Santa Rosa Catholic Church.

Olga is preceded in death by her former spouse, Jose B. Castillo, her parents, Manuel and Luz Carrasco, her brother Antonio Carrasco, and her son Oscar Castillo.

Olga is survived by her spouse, Baldemar Leiba. Her children: Eduvijes Vicky Navarette and spouse Gregorio; Alma Garcia and spouse Alex; Sandra Galindo and spouse Rene. Two step-children, Jose Castillo and Juan Castillo of Odessa, Texas and Diane Morales of Pecos.

Olga is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 29 great grand children.
