Angelee Hinojos Florez, 5, of Barstow, TX passed away on January 15, 2022, in Barstow, TX. She joined Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ while in the comfort of her home.
Angelee was born in Odessa, TX to Samuel and Dalia Florez on February 17, 2016. She was unable to attend her first year of school, due to her cancer diagnosis on July 8, 2021. To her loved ones, Angelee was known as “BooBoo”. Booboo enjoyed baking and gardening with her Mama, where they had some of the most wonderful conversations. She enjoyed taking walks along the Barstow canal and playing at the park. While cruising the country roads of Barstow with her brother and sisters, the girls would stand out of the sunroof and sing their favorite Disney songs. Her favorite colors were pink, blue, green, and purple. Booboo loved to play Disney princess dress up/role play, singing, gymnastics and dancing with her sisters. She had recently found a new bond with her big brother, Evan, playing T-Ball. The outdoors was her favorite and enjoyed being around horses and ponies, she was full of life.
In addition to all her favorite hobbies and pastimes, Angelee had the gift of Empathy. She recognized many things in people that we may take for granted. At night she and her sisters prayed for the homeless, hungry, the missing, and the sick. As parents we were eager to see how beautiful of an impact our BooBoo would have made in this world. It is truly a gift from God to have a daughter like Angelee. May her reward in Heaven be great!
