Anita Garcia Barragan, 64 of Barstow Texas, Passed away on January 28, 2025 in Pecos, Texas.

Visitation for Anita will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home and on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 1:00 pm -9:00 pm at Pecos Funeral Home. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Wednesday February 5, 2025 at Pecos Funeral Home 

Funeral Mass for Anita will be celebrated on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 10:00 am at Saint Catherine's Catholic Church, Burial will follow at Mount Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Pecos and Peaceful Garden Funeral Home. 

Anita was born in Laredo, Texas to Pedro Garcia Jr and Lydia DeLeon Garcia on December 10,1960. She went to school both in Laredo and Pecos. She married Fabio Barragan on June 30, 2018 in Pecos, Texas. She worked as an office administrator for Pecos Funeral Home, Peaceful Garden Funeral Home and Heritage Funeral Home of Van Horn. She was a member of the Guadalupanas and Women of Grace.

Anita is preceded in death by her father Pedro Garcia Jr. 

Anita is survived by her Husband Fabio Barragan, Mother; Lydia DeLeon Garcia, Daughters; Stephanie Camacho of Pecos, Texas and Lupita (Chris) Lara of Bastrop, Texas. Sons; Michael (Marlene) Barragan and Fabio Barragan Jr of Pecos, Texas. Brother; Pedro (Sylvia) Garcia III of Pecos Texas, Rolando (Sandra) DeLeon Garcia of Fort Davis, Texas. Jaime DeLeon (Yolanda) Garcia of Crane Texas and Omar DeLeon (Christy) Garcia of Graham, Texas. Grandchildren; Tristan Ortiz, Amaris Lara, Kaydence Lara, Mason Lara, Fabio Barragan III, Matthew Barragan, Bryson Barragan, Caiden Barragan, Jay Lee Barragan, Kaleb Barragan and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Pallbearers for Anita will be Omar DeLeon Garcia, Jonathan Garcia, Quiten Garcia, Michael Barragan, Omar Barragan Jr and Mark Zuniga.
