Antonio Bueno Hinojoz Sr.

Antonio Bueno Hinojoz, Passed away from this Life and entered Eternal rest on January 28, 2025 in Odessa, Texas 

Antonio was born in Pecos, TX to Calistro and Teresa Hinojoz on June 13, 1940. He married his lovely wife Belzora in 1972. He attended school in Pecos. He first began work with Sandia Detroit Diesel as a fabricator and spent many years there. He then started work with PBTISD as a custodian at Pecos High School and retired on June 30, 2002, after 17 years. He had a passion for music. His love of music began at a young age where he taught himself to play bass and acoustic guitars. He played in gigs in Pecos and surrounding areas as well as family gatherings. This was a passion he shared with his brothers and close friends his entire life. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; Calistro and Teresa. Brothers; Paul, Jesse and Manuel Hinojos. Sisters; Katy Hernandez, Cruz Gomez, Celia Tarango and Rachel Ramirez. 

Antonio is survived by his wife Belzora of 53 years. His children Flory Voegtline (Scott), Tony Hinojoz, Jr (Dana) and Aracely Hinojoz Muniz (Johnny). His last living sister Teresa Herrera (Tony). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Leslie, Neyva (Matt), Kristian (Matt), Zayde, Marley, Tripp, Alex, Anthony (Shada), Ashton and Arabella. 8 great grandchildren: Airielle, Weslynn, Ela, Eryn, Stosslyn, Ivy, German and Adelyn. And numerous nieces and nephews who also had much love for their Tio Toñio. 

Pallbearers will be Mando Hinojos, Scott Voegtline, Alvaro Hinojos, Robert Ramirez, Alex Muniz, Anthony Muniz, Ashton Muniz and Zayde Hinojoz

Visitation for Antonio will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2024 from 10:30 am - 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm at Pecos Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 5, 2024 at 10:00 am at Saint Catherine de Siena Catholic Church in Pecos, Texas. Burial will follow at Mount Evergreen Cemetery.
