Armando Lara

Armando "Mondie" Lara passed away on August 7, 2018 in Sweetwater, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 14, 2018 at 10 a.m., at the Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church. Burial followed at the Greenwood Cemetery.
A viewing will be at the Pecos Funeral Home on Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 1 to 9 p.m., as well as Monday from 9 a.m. till 7 p.m. A rosery will be on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.
"Mondie" was born April 21, 1967 in Pecos Texas, he attended school in Pecos Texas. "Mondie" loved spending time with his family and friends, fishing, camping and all outdoor activities. "Mondie" worked in the oilfield with Nabors for several years.
He is proceeded in death by his father Isabel M. "Bill" Lara, brother Rene Lara and sister Elsa Lara Levario.
Survivors include: his mother Modesta Ornelas Lara of Pecos, Texas, brother Ernest Lara and wife Mary of Sanger, Texas, Leonard Lara and wife Penny of Sweetwater, Texas, sisters Norma Mata and husband Dulces of Odessa, Texas, and Lisa Lara of Pecos, Texas. Daughters, Jennica Marie Martinez and husband George of Pecos, Texas, Michelle C. Gonzalez and husband Gabriel of Pecos, Texas, Delilah Diamantina Lara of San Diego, California, and Son Armando Jr "AJ" Lara of Arizona, 7 grandchildren, numerous, nieces and nephews and many friends.
