Bartolo O. Sanchez

Bartolo O. Sanchez Jr. age 74, of Toyah, Texas passed away on April 6, 2025 at home in Toyah.

Visitation and Rosary will be Monday, April 14, 2025, from 1:00pm – 9:00pm. Rosary Monday, April 14, 2025, at 7:00pm at Pecos Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church at 10:00am with burial to follow at Toyah Southside Cemetery.

Bartolo was born in Pecos, Texas to Bartolo and Paula Sanchez on February 19, 1951. He attended and graduated from Toyah High School. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad as a general laborer.

Bartolo is preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Bartolo Sanchez and an infant son Jaime Sanchez.

Mr. Sanchez is survived by his sons Gabriel (Pricilla) Sanchez and Rene Sanchez, both of Odessa, Texas. Daughters: Beatrice and Laura Sanchez are both of Pecos, Texas. 9 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren, brothers: Daniel Sanchez and Domingo (Margarita) Sanchez both of Odessa, Texas and Jesus (Elda) Sanchez of Toyah, Texas, sisters: Elpidia Valdez and Paula (Javier) Ortiz both from Toyah, Texas and Delma (Manuel) Machuca of Midland, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Gomez, Dominic Sanchez, Anthony Sanchez, Jaime Sanchez, Elijah Sanchez, Adrian Sanchez, Jacob Sanchez, and Gabriel Sanchez.
