Benny Hinojos

Benjamin "Benny" Hinojos Jr, a devoted husband, loving father, caring son, cherished brother, Passed away on April 28, 2024, in Barstow, Texas.
 
Born on November 26, 1971, in Pecos, Texas, Benny had a fulfilling life that touched the hearts of many. He was known for his remarkable dedication to his work and his family. Benny's career spanned several years where he worked at the Union Pacific for 18 years before joining Texas Department of Transportation for another 10 years.
 
In addition to his professional achievements, Benny's proudest accomplishment was marrying his beloved wife, Deida Hinojos, on March 6, 2017 in Pecos, Texas. This union brought forth a beautiful family that meant the world to him.
 
Benny will be dearly missed and remembered by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife Deida Hinojos; daughters Yadally Hinojos, Maya Hinojos, Jasmine Tarin; Sons; Cristian Hinojos, Cristian Tarin, Tristan Tarin, Eli Hinojos; Granddaughter Sophia Kate Granado; Sister Elena Valencia; Father Benjamin Hinojos Sr; Mother Rosenda Hinojos, along with numerous other relatives and friends.
 
Services to honor and celebrate Benny's life will be held at Pecos Funeral Home located at 607 W 3rd St in Pecos, Texas. The visitation is scheduled for May 2nd from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on the same day. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church on Friday, May 3rd starting at 2:00 PM with burial following at Barstow cemetery.
