Bertha Garcia

Bertha G Garcia, 83, of Balmorhea, Texas, passed away on February 7th, 2022 in Fontana, California.

Bertha was born in Balmorhea, Texas to Juan and Delfina Gomez on July 12th, 1938.

Bertha has three brothers Ruben, Johnny, Robert and three sisters Amada, Lydia and Gloria.

Bertha is preceded in death by her parents Juan and Delfina Gomez, her brother Ramon Gomez, her son Santiago (Jimmy) Natividad, daughter Patricia (Patsy) Wren and great grandson Jeremiah Natividad.

Bertha is survived by her daughters Sylvia Bonillas, Anna Zubeldia (Javier), Stella Natividad and Susan Garcia and many grandchildren (11) and great grandchildren (21) and her grand-dog Candyce.

Pallbearers will be Mark Maes, Christopher Cordero, Abram Natividad, Michael Bonillas, Julian Zubeldia and Adrien Smith.

Visitation, including Rosary will be 10:00 am to 9:00 pm Thursday February 17th, 2022 at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home Pecos, Texas. Rosary at 7:30 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday February 18th, 2022 at Christ the King Catholic Church, Balmorhea, Texas. Burial will follow at Balmorhea Cemetery. Arrangments are by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home.

Bertha was very humble, hardworking, caring and an avid sports fan. Bertha loved to watch her beloved Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Lakers. She had a sweet tooth and enjoyed eating empanadas, watching novelas and loved listening to mexican music especially Los Tigres Del Norte and Ramon Ayala. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
