Byron Bunce

Byron Dean Bunce, 56 of Pecos, passed away on May 22, 2014 in Ward County Texas.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 26, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Pecos Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the Pecos Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ron Garcia officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.

Byron was born in Center, Texas on August 18, 1957. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, especially deer hunting. He enjoyed metal detecting, target and skeet shooting, watching NASCAR races, western movies and listening to old country music. He never met a stranger and could talk to anyone. He always had a story to tell and enjoyed making people laugh.

Byron is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Brandy Wilson and husband Johnathan, from Cleveland Texas, son Michael Smith and wife Melissa from Odessa, Texas brothers Bobby Bunce and wife Sue from Maricopa, AZ, Ralph Bunce and wife Tammy form Chandler, AZ, and Tim Bunce and wife Crystal from New River, AZ Parents Louis and Sallie Bunce from Casa Grande, AZ grandchildren Jason and Misty Wilson, Ariel Taylor and husband Josh, Jonathan Smith, Mariah Smith and greatgranddaughter Alexia Taylor. Several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
