Carlos M. Rubio

Carlos Rubio, 64, of Pecos, Tx passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023 in Pecos, Texas surrounded by his family. Carlos was born in Pecos, Tx. to Carlos Rubio Sr.  and Ana Cleta Rubio on April 28, 1959. He married Bertha Vela Rubio on November 18, 2017 in Pecos, Texas. He went to school at Brownfield High School and graduated from Odessa College, worked for Bell Supply as a counter salesman.

Carlos Rubio is preceded in death by his parents Carlos and Ana Cleta Rubio and brother Ricky .

Carlos Rubio is survived by his spouse Bertha (Bert) Vela Rubio, sons Zyran & Carlos Vela, daughter Crissy & Rebecca Rubio, sisters Elva Moreno, Blanca Gonzales, Rita Abila, brothers Jaime Rubio, Arturo Rubio, Zacarias Morales, Rudy Morales, and grandchildren Julian Garcia, Isaac Rubio, Jordan Rubio, Jayden Rubio.

Pallbearers are Alvaro Navarette, Isiah Vela, Isaac Rubio, Julian Garcia, Sarah Lopez, David Borrego, Larry Moreno Jr., David Salas.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 11:30 am to 9 pm at Pecos Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be at 11am on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Word of Hope Church with Pastor Lee Serrano officiating.

Interment will follow after the service at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Pecos, Texas.
