Celia Campos

The Heavenly gates opened and Welcomed home our Mother and Grandmother Celia Hinojos Campos on September 18, 2019.

On January 24, 1932, Secundino and Petra Campos brought a beautiful girl into this world and together they named her Celia.

Visitation will be held on Sunday September 22, 2019 from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel and Monday, September 23, 2019 from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm on Monday.

Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Santa Rosa Catholic Church at 10:00 am.

Burial will follow at Barstow Cemetery in Barstow, Texas.

Celia and Ysidoro raised their four children until it was time for them to go out and start their own families. Celia loved being in her garden and also with her chickens and cats. The single most important thing to Celia was her Family, She loved spending time with them, from talking or cooking a big meal for everybody to eat. Celia had a heart of gold, she would help anyone who was in need, Everyone could always count on Celia, even when it wasn’t needed she was there with a helping hand.

Celia married Ysidoro Campos and together they had three sons and one daughter.

Celia is survived by Her Sons, Ysidoro Campos of Austin, Ruben Campos and Carlos Campos of Pecos, Daughter; Geneva Natividad of Pecos.  12 Grandchildren, several Great Grandchildren and One Great Grandson.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, Sister; Pabla Pena, Brother; Francisco (Kico) Hinojos.
