Chris Soto

Chris Soto, Passed from this life and entered eternal rest on September 8, 2024 in Pecos. 

Chris was born on October 24, 1997, in Pecos Tx, to Danny Soto and Amy Gonzalez. He passed away on September 8,2024. 

He grew up in Pecos and graduated from Pecos High School. Chris worked as a Pump Mechanic and was also the Lead in the Tank Division for National Tank & Equipment, where he dedicated himself to his job for 3 years. 

Chris lived a life rooted in his faith, family, and friendship. He had a love for the outdoors, where he spent countless hours fishing, riding his Can-Am, and playing baseball with friends. He often spent his time with friends and family, making memories that reflected his fun-loving, energetic spirit. He cherished every moment with his loved ones, and his presence brought joy to everyone around him. Chris had a special bond with his niece, Isabella, who was a bright light in his life. 

Those who preceded him in death cherished and loved him immensely, leaving behind fond memories of the time they shared together.

 He is survived by his brother Daniel Soto jr. and his sister Brianna Soto, parents Danny Soto and Amy Gonzalez, his beloved nephews Josiah and Leland, and his nieces Leelah, La’Neya, and Isabella, who all carry forward his memory with love and gratitude. His family will forever remember him as a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend whose laughter and kindness touched the lives of many. 

The young gentlemen that will carry Chris to his place of rest will be: Albert Perez Jr., Ramon Fierro Jr., Abel Gabaldon, Carlos Campos Jr., Ricardo Hidalgo, Maclen Perez Jr., Andrew Galindo,  Noah Campos.  Honorary Pallbearer; Joel Ramos Jr.

Visitation for Chris will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 5:00pm - 9:00pm & Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 9:00am - 9:00pm at Pecos Funeral Home. A Holy Rosary will be recited on Thursday at 7:00pm.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Chris on Friday, September 13, 2024 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church at 10:00 am.

Burial will follow at Green Wood Cemetery.
