Conrado Saldana

Conrado Y. Saldaa, of Pecos, Texas passed to a better life July 30, 2014.
Conrado was born in Presidio, Texas to Jesus and Isidora Y. Saldaa. Conrado came to Pecos at the age of 18, and has been home since that time. Conrados children were born and reared in Pecos. He was a very happygolucky person, he always had the moto of whistling while you work. Conrados family always came first and then work. Conrado was a catholic.

A rosary has been scheduled for Monday August 4, 2014 at 7:30 PM at the Pecos Funeral Home chapel. A mass will be held on Tuesday August 5, 2014 at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church at 1:00 PM with Father Fabian Marquez officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Evergreen Cemetery. Pecos Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Conrado was a very proud Father and loved his children, he taught his sons how to be men and how to be a father. Conrado was pleased with the way his family grew and to see his sons teaching and caring for their children in the same way he had done for them. Conrado loved family gatherings, playing the guitar and singing, these things were very important to him. The second great love of Conrados life was working as a carpenter. He worked for the town of Pecos City for 34, years plying his trade as a carpenter along with many other talents. He also worked as a carpenter for many of the residents of Pecos and this area.

Conrado is preceded in death by his son, Jorge Arturo O. Saldaa, his parents Jesus and Isidora, and two brothers Victor and Adan Saldaa.
Conrado is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Maria Elena Nena O. Saldaa five sons Conrado Saldaa wife Debbie, and Alfredo Saldaa wife Monica of Pecos, Ramon Saldaa wife Dora, of Monahans, Cesar Saldaa wife Marina and Mario Saldaa wife Dilia of Odessa seventeen grandchildren and sixteen greatgrandchildren. Mr. Saldaa is also survived by one brother, Adalberto Beto Saldaa, of Pahrump, NV, Sister Juana S. Juanita Jaquez, of Odessa, two halfsisters Isaura Saldaa and Adalberta Berta S. Garcia Ramon, halfbrothers Jose Antonio Saldaa, all of Ojinaga, Mexico and Jesus Manuel Saldaa wife Elva of Midland TX.
