Consuelo Paz Flores, known to her loved ones as Chelo, peacefully passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 89. She was born on April 4, 1935, in San Benito, Texas, to Manuel and Ascencion Gaitan Paz and most recently resided in Pecos, Texas.
Consuelo was a talented flower arranger and homemaker who found joy in creating beautiful flower arrangements. She dedicated her time and skills working at various flower shops in Pecos, where her passion for floral artistry shone through. When not immersed in her beloved hobby, Consuelo delighted in sewing. Her hands were always busy, stitching together pieces of fabric to create cherished items for herself and her loved ones. Consuelo found relaxation in watching Discovery Channel, where she could indulge in her favorite TV shows. Her upbeat nature and warm presence made her a cherished member of her community.
Consuelo was preceded in death by her loving husband, Elizer (Chel) Flores. She leaves behind a legacy of love and family. She is survived by her children, Jaime P Flores and wife Diane Flores and Glenda Natividad and husband David Natividad Sr. Grandchildren Jaime Jr., Lauren Flores, and Leah Flores. David Natividad Jr, Naomi Natividad and Denise Natividad. Consuelo also leaves behind five adored great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be held at 7 pm, Tuesday May 14, 2024 at Pecos Funeral Home. Gravesite services will be at 10 am, Wednesday, May 15, 2024 Evergreen Cemetery, Pecos, Texas.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
