Diana Salas

Diana M Salas 52 of Pecos passed away Saturday September 19, 2020 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. She was born April 11, 1968 to Merced and Santos Munoz Salas in Pecos. She was a nurse provider and Christian Catholic.

Diana was known to be a very outgoing person, she was always the loudest person in the room, loved to dance and listen to Tejano Music especially when it was Ruben ‘El Gato Negro ‘ Ramos or Little Joe and other Ole school music coming thru the speakers. She was a very giving of herself type of person, always loved helping others, she was always full of life and she never gave up. She fought the battle of life up until the end. Diana you will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Susana Reyes, brothers Ruben Salas and Israel Hernandez and nephew Ruben Salas Jr.

Diana is survived by her sisters Norina Rodriguez and husband Reyes of Pecos, Tx and Sylvia Herod and husband Bobby of Odessa, Tx ,brother Jesus M. Hernandez of Colorado City, Tx.

Diana also leaves to cherish her memory 4 nephews Eloy Salas, Richard Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez and Devan Salas.

Due to Covid-19 visitation is set for 40 persons with six feet social distancing guidelines applying Wednesday September 30, 2020 from 10am-4pm with a rosary at 2pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel, Masks are required.

Funeral service is set for Thursday 10 am Thursday October 1, 2020 at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jose dela Cruz officiating. Same social distancing guidelines apply. Burial of the urn will follow at Greenwood cemetery.
