Eduardo Fuentes

Eduardo C. Fuentes, Sr. aged 58, of Pecos passed away peacefuly in his home surrounded by his loved ones on Friday February 14, 2025. It was his son's birthday.

Eduardo was born in Pecos on April 19, 1966 in Pecos, Tx to Santiago and Maria Fuentes. He is preceded in death by his father Santiago Fuentes, and brother Bobby Fuentes.

A Rosary in remembrance will be officiated by Deacon Oscar Machuca and wife Beatriz on Thursday March 06, 2025 at 7:00 pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. 

Eduardo known as 'La Comadre' by those who loved him most. Was no stranger to being a jack of all trades, a mechanic, a handyman, and a long haul truck driver. Also known as a good cook, an avid barbecuer, a disco enthusiast(cook & dancer), fisherman, Lowrider club member, the life of the party, and a jokester. He definitely was one in a million. He truly will be missed, Godspeed!

He is survived by his spouse Estela Barrón, two sons; Christopher Barron and wife Bianca, Eduardo Fuentes, Jr. (Dina Soto), four daughters; Isabel Fuentes Zarco (Alyssa Calba), Brittnie Fuentes, Sarah Rodriguez, and Teresa Rodriguez. His mother Maria Fuentes, his sister Sylvia Cazares, 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews, along with numerous of friends are also survived. As a dog lover he is also survived by his four legged companion Dog Day. 

The family wishes to extend their most sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Steven Serrano & staff for everything provided to him throughout the years while Eduardo was under their care, the nurses of Reeves Regional Health, for Myra Taylor for caring for him while under her care as well. As well as Officer Marlene Serrano for being their for him.
