Efren Rodriguez

Efren Evaro Rodriguez, 75, of Midland and Pecos, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017.
Viewing is on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Pecos Funeral Home, at 607 West 3rd Street and Monday Nov. 27, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary to be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 7:30pm.
A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, 10:00 am at Santa Rosa Catholic Church, in Pecos, Texas. Burial will follow at Mt. Evergreen in Pecos.
Efren was a strong believer in his faith and dedicated to his community and family. He valued his time with his grandsons, and loved teasing them constantly, in a way a Grandpa could only do. He looked forward to teaching them his family recipes and ‘know how'.
Efren was born July 9, 1942 in Barstow, Texas to Aguedo and Luz Rodriguez. Preceded in death was his wife, Alicia Acosta Rodriguez. He is survived by his daughter, Joanna Rodriguez Castillo of San Antonio, Texas and two beautiful grandsons Nicolas and Marcos Castillo. He is also survived by his long-time partner, Soledad Amparo Sanchez of Midland, Texas, and two step children, Randy Sanchez from Midland, Texas, and Sandy Sanchez Trevizo from Austin, Texas. He is also survived by 3 step-grandchildren, Nico Trevizo, Erica Rendon and Christina Sanchez, and two great step-grandchildren, Derek Rendon and Alex Garcia. Efren is also survived by his only living sister, Maria Rubio, and several sister-n-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations, can be made to Santa Rosa Catholic Church.
Services are entrusted to Pecos Funeral Home.
