Liz was born November 30, 1965 to Andrew and Joy Lewis. She grew up in Reeves County Texas, as the youngest child and only sister to three older brothers. Throughout her life, Liz possessed a passion for learning and excelled in all that she put her mind to. She was involved in various extracurricular activities while in school such as yearbook and stock show, through 4-H and FFA. Liz attended Sul Ross State University and Angelo State University, where she received multiple degrees which include a Masters of Business Administration. In pursuit of her dreams, she moved to San Antonio to begin a career, first in Human Resources and later transitioning to research and document management. Liz was an invaluable asset to her employers and zealous advocate of her clients, tirelessly working to assist them in collecting documents necessary to complete their matters in the most complete and accurate way possible.
Eventually, Liz moved to Fort Davis to be closer to her family. While in Fort Davis, she was heavily involved with the First United Methodist Church of Fort Davis, Texas as well as the Fort Davis Lions Club. Liz was a committed member of her community and did her best to passionately advocate for its best interests.
To say that Liz had a love for dogs, especially her beloved Corgis, is an understatement. Her life was enriched by the companionship of her canine friends as they were true members of her family.
Liz was known to her nieces and nephews as "Sissy". Her love for them was fierce and knew no bounds. She was notorious for showering them with endless affection, support and oftentimes, way too many treats. Liz's nurturing spirit and generous Heart made her the perfect confidante and her kind words and listening ear will be profoundly missed. Liz left the world in a better place than that which she found it and wilI be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
