Elsa Palomino

Elsa C. Palomino 65, of Pecos, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family. Elsa was born on November 27, 1956 to Miguel Chavez and Dorothy C. Chavez. Elsa was a hard worker, she has been since a very young age. She loved to volunteer her time to the Community of Pecos, Texas. She was involved with the Pecos Lions  Club. past President of the Pecos Chamber of Commerce, volunteered her time to the Rodeos, Christmas Parades, and many other events and clubs in town. Her life revolved around her family. She enjoyed shopping, family game nights, and reading. Elsa loved going with the all the family to different  places on vacations. She enjoyed hanging out with family and friends. Elsa was a very private person but, she loved everyone and loved life. Elsa loved to be humble, and would help anyone who needed her help. Elsa attended Pecos High School and graduated in 1972. She met Gilbert Palomino and got married on November of 1989. Elsa worked for Dairy Queen for 43 years, and was employed by Wolf's Dairy Queen.

Elsa C. Palomino is preceded in death by her father Miguel "Mike" Chavez.

Elsa is survived by her husband Gilberto Palomino, Sons; Benjamin Munoz Jr. and wife Isela Munoz, Darrell Palomino and wife Jennifer Palomino, Daughter; Monica Palomino, Mother Dorothy C. Chavez, Brother Mike Chavez, and sister Patsy Nunez, Grandchildren; Nathan, Darrell, Ryan, Kiara, Arabella, and Great Grandchild Noah. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Friends.

Pallbearers will be; Gabriel Nunez, Joey Palomino, Leroy Chavez, Michael Palomino, Greg Garcia, Vincent Palomino.

Honorary Pallbearers will be; Jeremy Lara and Gilberto Sotelo.

Visitation will be held at Pecos Funeral Home on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 9 am to 9pm with Rosary at 7 pm.

Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 10 am at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Pecos, Texas
