Emma Jaramillo Almaraz

Emma Jaramillo Almaraz was born on June 30, 1952, in Pecos, TX, to the late Clemente and Sara Jaramillo. She peacefully passed away at the age of 71 to be with Jesus. Emma was a devoted wife to Agustin Perez Almaraz and a loving mother to her son Valentin Jaramillo Almaraz. She was also a cherished mother-in-law to Sergio De La Cruz, who is married to Valentin. For many years, Emma worked tirelessly at Anchor to support her family, demonstrating her strong work ethic and commitment. 

Emma's love knew no bounds. She was a beautiful, caring soul who touched the lives of many. Known for her kindness and meekness, she opened her heart to everyone she met, treating them as family. Emma's nurturing spirit extended beyond her own family, as she loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents Clemente and Sara Jaramillo, as well as her brothers Jose, Eliseo, Ernesto, Clemente Jr., and Victor Jaramillo.

She is survived by her beloved husband Agustin Perez Almaraz, her son Valentin Jaramillo Almaraz, his spouse Sergio De La Cruz, and her siblings Manuel Jaramillo, Daniel Jaramillo, Ector Jaramillo, Rachel Jaramillo Banuelos, and Maria Jaramillo Hernandez.

She was a devoted member of Santa Rosa Catholic Church and North Temple Baptist Church, where she found solace and community among her brothers and sisters in Christ.

Her love for her son, her family, her extended family, and her faith community was immeasurable, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Emma's legacy of love, compassion, and inclusivity will forever be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
