Enrique Mata

Enrique Mata, 70, passed away on December 7, 2020, in Odessa, Texas. He entered this world on December 17, 1949 in Pecos, Texas, born to Felipe and Francisca (Carrasco) Mata.

He is preceded in death by his wife; Claudia E. Mata, parents; Felipe Mata and Francisca Mata, sister; Catalina "Cato" Ybarra, and brother; Ismael "Mie" Mata.

He is survived by his daughter; Jeanette Mata, sons; Roque Matta, Enrique "Kike" Mata, Rocky Mata, brothers; Feliz Mata, Domingo Mata, sisters; Julia Contreraras, Anita Evaro and Vickie Ybarra, 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews other family and friends.

Pallbearers; Adrian Lyles, Cory Mata, John Mata, Felipe Mata, Gustavo Ybarra, Gilbert Ybarra, Javier Contreras, Felipe Ybarra, Fernando Carrillo, Ruben Salinas, and Joe Ray  Flores

Services will be Tuesday, December 22, 2020, with visitation beginning at 8:00 am.., rosary at 1:00 P.M., at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel and graveside services starting at 2:00 P.M. at Greenwood Cemetery.

Due to COVID19 pandemic and subsequent outbreaks, ALL services are limited to immediate family only up to 25 persons. Graveside services are not limited in attendance; however, all services require mask and social distancing.
