Eric Scott

Eric Lozano Scott, 54 of Pecos, TX., passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022. Eric was born in Odessa, TX, to Frances Lozano Scott and James P. Scott on September 14, 1967. He graduated from Pecos High School. He married Leticia Gonzales Scott on July 26, 1990 in Pecos, TX. He worked as a Correctional Officer/Laundry Forman for 18 1/2 years at Reeves County Detention Center in Pecos, TX. Eric was in the Army Reserve for at least 2 years and was Honorably discharged. Eric was a Catholic and a life time Pecos resident.

Eric is preceded in death by his grandmother Senaida Garcia.

Eric is survived by his wife Leticia G. Scott, son; John Sebastian Scott and daughter; Maria Luz Scott, Two brothers; Darrell Scott and Edward Scott, and his parents James and Frances Lozano Scott.

Pall bearers will be; Carlos Baeza, Ricardo Cerna, Christopher Mata, Edward Scott, John Scott, and Melvin Baeza.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 9 am to 9 pm with Rosary at 7:30 pm at Pecos Funeral Home in Pecos, Texas on 607 W. 3rd. St.

Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 10 am at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church in Pecos, Texas Mask are required to be worn at the church.
