Erik Gonzalez

Erik Gonzalez, 15 of Pecos passed away on August 8, 2018.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 15 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. A Prayer service will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.
Erik was born on February 2, 2003 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Valentina Muro and Daniel Gonzalez. Erik completed his freshman year at Pecos High School. From 2013 - 2017, he was an active member of the Pecos Mighty Eagle Band. During that time, he received many awards. He had the opportunity of a lifetime to attend State Band competitions and had the honor of playing at Disney World. Erik enjoyed doing things that he loved, for example, being outdoors, doing mechanic work and being an all-around country boy. Erik had a heart of gold and will be missed by his family and peers.
Erik is preceded in death by his older brother, Leon Gonzalez. He is survived by his parents Valentina Muro and Daniel Gonzalez, a brother Miguel Angel Muro; and sister Daniella Gonzalez.
