Espiridion "Speedy" Florez

Espiridion "Speedy" Florez 89, of Pecos passed away Monday February 17, 2020 at the Focus Care Nursing Home. He was born December 14, 1930 to Juan De La Luz Florez and Eulalia Lara Florez in Pecos, Tx. He was retired restaurant owner and a Christian. He united in marriage March 16, 1974 to Elodia Dominguez in Pecos.

Espiridion apart from being a restaurant operator loved music, played guitar, sang, had a sense of humor and at times he was witty with quick responses to anything he faced. He also had a deep love for his grandchildren he would let the get away with anything they did. He will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and six brothers.

Speedy is survived by his wife Elodia D. Florez of Pecos, Tx. daughter Corina Florez of Pecos, Tx. and son Ruben Florez and wife Sabrina of Odessa, Tx.

Speedy also leaves to cherish his memories five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation is set for Wednesday February 19, 2020 from 11am-8pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services are set for 2pm Thursday February 20,2020 at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Juan Palacios officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenwood cemetery.
