Estela Talamantez 78 of Toyah, Texas passed away on December 19, 2023 in Austin,Texas

Visitation for Estela will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 1:00pm - 9:00pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Pecos Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church at 10:00 am with Father Andy Martinez Officitiating.

Burial will follow at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery.

Estela was born in Pecos, Texas to Andres and Lupe Martinez on July 10,1945. She attended and graduated from Toyah high school.  She married (late) Frank C Talamantez . Estela was a homemaker. She was involved in local campaigning.
Estela is proceded in death by her parents Andres and Lupe Martinez, brother Armando Martinez husband Frank Talamantez , her son David Talamantez, and her daughter Ravina Martinez.
Estela is survived by her daughters Elva Talamantez ( Alfonso Perez)  from Austin, Texas, Cristina Garcia (Alfred Garcia) from Pecos Texas.
Her siblings Andy Martinez ( Pecos, Texas) Edward Martinez ( Odessa tx) Reynoldo Martinez ( Roswell, Nm) Ramon Martinez ( Roswell, Nm) Ermelinda Martinez ( Pecos, Texas). Dolores Guzman ( Pecos, tx) Mary Madrid ( Temple, tx) Dora Martinez ( temple, tx)

Grandchildren, Ernest Tarango (Austin,tx)  David Talamantez Jr (Visalia, Ca) Destiny Garcia  ( Pecos, Texas )Alfred Garcia Jr (Pecos, Texas) , Alyanna Perez (Austin, tx)

Great grand children : Paris Sandoval, David Talamantez III, Brennan Talamantez, Giovani Talamantez, and Gianna Talamantez.
