Ezequiel Venegas

Ezequiel Venegas, 76, of Pecos, TX passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on October 12, 2022, at University Medical Center in Lubbock, TX.

Ezequiel was born in Mexico to his mother Angelita V. Urias on May 10th, 1946. He married Beatriz Armendariz on February 17, 1970, in Pecos, TX at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. He worked construction for over 45 years and was a Guadalupano at Santa Rosa Catholic Church.

Ezequiel is preceded in death by his mother Angelita, brothers Roberto and Cesario Urias and sister Agricola Ontiveros.

Ezequiel is survived by his wife Beatriz Venegas, children Marisol Venegas and spouse Omero Salgado, GuadalupeVenegas and spouse Elizabeth Rodriguez, and Ezequiel Venegas Jr. brother; Armando Urias. Grandchildren include Amber Ruiz, Eddie Pando, Ariana Salgado, Ashley, Elijah and Auden Venegas, Sophia and HarleeVenegas. Great grandchildren include Zoe and Fernando “EZ”Ruiz, Emory Venegas.

Pall bearers will be Eddie Pando, Elijah Venegas, Fernando Ruiz, Jose Maria Urias Jr., Angel A. Olivas, Sotero Urias Jr., Gerardo Mendoza, and Joaquin Urias.

Viewing will be held at Pecos Funeral Home on Monday, October 17, 2022, from 1pm to 9pm with Rosary to be held at 7:30pm.

Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Tuesday, October 18th, 2022, at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.
