Feliciano "Chano" Muniz 85, of Saragosa, Texas passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020 in Saragosa. He was born June 30, 1935 to Juan Muniz and Eduvijes Tarango in Candelaria, Texas. He was a Christian Catholic and a laborer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Roman, Juan, Ricardo, and Luiz Muniz, and sisters Anatalia Muniz, and Ester Mendoza.
Chano is survived by his brothers Ezekiel Muniz and wife Berta, and Cruz Muniz and wife Anita of Saragosa, Texas and sister Paula Fuentes, of Hobbs, New Mexico. Chano also leaves to cherish his memories 62 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation is set for Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 2pm-9pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel and Monday, February 17, 2020 from 10am-9pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with a Rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 2pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Saragosa, Texas with Father De La Cruz officiating. Burial will follow at the Saragosa Cemetery.
Pall bearers will be Oscar Muniz, Felipe Muniz, Roman Muniz, Valentin Mendoza, Ramon Muniz, Ben Fuentes and Honorary Pall Bearer Martin Muniz.
