Felipe D. Lopez Jr.

Felipe Lopez Jr., 65 passed away on Thursday February 1, 2024,in Saragosa, Texas.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Monday February 5, 2024, along with a rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Pecos Funeral Home. 

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday February 6, 2024, at Saragosa Cemetery in Saragosa with Deacon Rudy Villegas officiating. Arrangements are made by Pecos Funeral Home in Pecos, Texas.

Felipe Lopez Jr. was born in Pecos, Texas to Felipe Lopez Sr. and Liboria D. Lopez on July 4, 1958.

He attended school in Balmorhea, Texas where he also graduated.  He joined the United States Marine Corp in May of 1976.  He served his country for 5 years and received numerous medals and honors.

Felipe Lopez Jr. is preceded in death by parents, Felipe Lopez Sr. and Liboria D. Lopez, brothers Manuel Lopez and Mike Lopez, and sisters Teresa Lopez and Elia Estrada.

Felipe is survived by his son, Christoper Lee Lopez. Brothers Tomas Lopez (Jesus Maria), Jose Luis Lopez, Abel Lopez, Rudy Lopez (Flor) and Jesse Lopez (Betty).  Sisters, Gloria Lopez, Sylvia Mendoza (Valentine), Yolanda Lopez (Manuel), Mary Jane Rios (Raul), Teresa Salinas, Maribel Hernandez (Rafael) and sister-in-law Bertha Lopez; 2 grandchildren and numerousnieces and nephews

Pallbearers are Jose Luis Lopez, Rudy Lopez, Jesse Lopez, Abel Lopez, Tommy Granado, Danny Lara, Gerald Lopez, and Aaron Lopez.
