Francisco Ramirez

Francisco Javier Ramirez 68 of Pecos passed away Sunday August 30, 2020 at Covenant Medical Center Hospital in Lubbock. He was born December 3, 1951 in Coyame Chihuahua, Mexico to Sylvestre and Rosalia Navarrette Ramirez. He was a Christian Catholic and a truck driver. He married Alicia Ruiz May 5, 1971 in Pecos, Javier was a hard worker, loved all types of sports but his specialty was boxing having participated in boxing matches of his own in his younger years. He loved to play pool often competing in pool tournaments. He was also known as a platicador loved to share his stories and sense of humor, he was known also to be a very generous and humble person, he loved all types of food, but he especially loved sweets. But most of all he loved his children and grandchildren. Dad you will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Alicia Ruiz Ramirez of Pecos, daughters Maribel Estrella and husband Javier, Belinda Garcia and husband Gerald all of Midland, sons Angel Ramirez Sr and wife Gretchen and Javier Ramirez Jr and Danielle all of Midland, and Aaron Ramirez of Pecos. sister Maria Cecelia Perez and husband Alberto of Bakersfield Ca. brothers Rodolfo Ramirez of Odessa and Sylvestre Ramirez Jr of Pecos.

Javier also leaves to cherish his memory 12 grandchildren Alexa, Skyler, Jase, Tyler, Kristen, Laci, Angel Jr, Destiny, Sean, McKenzie, Hova and Kairi, and 7 great grandchildren Jayden, Jordan Devin, Londyn, Aiden, Paris and Aspen

Due to COVID-19 visitation is set for 40 persons only Wednesday September 2, 2020 at 9am-4pm with a rosary at 2pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Six feet social distancing guidelines apply, and masks are required.

Graveside services are set for 10am Thursday September 3, 2020 at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jose Dela Cruz officiating at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery Same guidelines apply.

Pallbearers will be; Skyler Estrella, Jase Estrella, Sean Ramirez, Angel Ramirez Jr., Jayden Estrella,   Honorary Pallbearer; Jordon Orr, and Tyler Garcia
