Frank Ornelas

Frank Flores Ornelas Sr., of Pecos, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on January 31, 2019.
Visitation will be at Peaceful Garden Chapel from 2pm to 9pm on Sunday, February 3, 2019 and 9am to 9pm on Monday, February 4, 2019. Rosary will be at 7:30pm on Monday, February 4, 2019. Funeral services will be at 10am on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church, burial will follow at Mt. EvergreenCemetery.
Frank was born in Pecos, Texas, on July 23, 1946, to Francisco Ornelas and Dominga Flores Rayos. He was married to Candelaria Mata on September 16, 1963. He was retired from a lifelong career as a mechanic, and he was always a man to help anyone in need.
He is preceded in death by his father, Francisco Ornelas; mother, Dominga Flores Rayos; daughter, Rita Lara; sisters, Pilar Ornelas and Elisa Gonzalez; brothers, Felix Ornelas, Esequiel Ornelas, Raymundo Rayos, Bobby Ornelas and Rudy Ornelas.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Candelaria Mata Ornelas; sons, Francisco Flores Ornelas Jr., and Gabriel Ornelas and wife Janette; daughters, Carolina Maxwell, Micaela Baeza, and Rachel Orona and husband Larry; twenty six grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Modesta Lara, Catalina Vasquez, Carmela Prieto, Julie Rayos, Cecilia Mata, Petra Ornelas, Cruz Garcia, Olga Ornelas, Dora Ornelas, Betty Ornelas, Syria Garcia, Gloria Castaneda, Prissy Ornelas; brothers Tony Rayos, Federico Ornelas, Vicente Ornelas, Marcelino Ornelas, Roberto Rayos, Jose Rayos, Raul Ornelas, Robert Ornelas, Alfredo Ornelas, Harvey Ornelas, Charlie Ornelas, Carlos Ornelas, Roy Ornelas, Antonio Ornelas.
Pall bearers will be Donald Walker Jr., Francisco Flores Ornelas III, Ruben James Baeza, Kevin Jay Orona, Geronimo Ornelas, Gabriel Ornelas, Freddy Ornelas, and Ralph Gonzalez.
