Genoveva C. Gonzales

Genoveva Contreras Gonzales, age 92 of Barstow, passed away on February 7, 2025, in Pecos, Texas.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 9:00AM to 9:00PM with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm at Pecos Funeral Home

Funeral Mass for Genoveva will be celebrated Friday, February 14, 2025, at 10:00AM, at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in Barstow with Father Cruz officiating service. Burial will follow at Barstow Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Pecos Funeral Home.

Genoveva Gonzales was born in Barstow to Bentura and Manuela Gonzales on September 3,1932.

Genoveva is preceded in death by her sisters Mary Stone from Midland, Rosa Rios from Monahans, Gilberta Garcia from Barstow, Guadalupe Gonzales from Barstow and brother Jose Gonzales from Bartow, child Alva Gonzales recognized as daughter. Genoveva is survived by her daughter Marta Ferrales and her fiancé Larry Ybarra of Pecos, her son Patricio Gonzales of Barstow and Ramon Gonzales recognized as son of Odessa. Grandchildren Ray Palomino Jr. (Cynthia) of Midland and Vincent Palomino of Midland. Great Grandchildren Amarie Palomino of Pecos, Ray Palomino III of Midland, Ayden Palomino of Midland, Bryent Palomino of Midland Vance Palomino of Odessa.
