Gilbert Ray Fuentes 41 of Pecos passed away Sunday June 21, 2020 at the Reeves County Hospital. He was born November 2, 1978 in Andrews, Texas to Severo and Francisca Madrid Fuentes. He was a disabled and a Christian catholic. Gilbert was a lowrider bike enthusiast and a member of Onda Lowrider Club, an avid San Francisco 49er fan as you can see that why his favorite colors were red and gold. He loved Tejano and oldies music, loved to bar-b-que, and have a good ole time. He will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his father Severo Fuentes and brother Marco Antonio Vizcaino.
He is survived by his mother Francisca M. Fuentes of Pecos, brother Samuel Fuentes of Pecos, sisters Rosario Villanueva and husband Manuel R. of Pecos, Dolores, Amanda, and Dalilah Fuentes all of Pecos.
Gilbert also leaves to cherish his memory 19 nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 visitation is set for 75 persons only Tuesday June 23, 2020 from 9am -4pm and Wednesday June 24, 2020 from 9am-4pm with a rosary at 2pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.
Mass is set for 10am Thursday June 25, 2020 at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with Father Jose De La Cruz officiating. The same COVID-19 guidelines apply at the church. Masks are required at the church social distancing is recommended.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Israel Rubio, Austin Rubio, Jon Baeza, Javier Matehuala, Ruben Tarango and Jimmy Yniguez
