Gilbert Gomez Sr.

Gilbert Gomez Sr. passed away at his home in Pecos, Texas on March 20, 2017 at the age of 81 after a long illness.
Mr. Gomez was born on April 1, 1935 to Domitilo Gomez and Estefana Gomez in El Paso Texas.
Gilbert is preceded in death by his parents Domitilo Gomez and Estefana Gomez and his sister Margaret Martinez.
Gilbert is survived by his loving wife Ana Maria Gomez of 60 years; four children Gilbert, Jr and wife Julie of El Paso, TX, Sylvia San Roman of San Antonio, David Gomez and wife Sara of El Paso, TX and Hilda Woods of Pecos, TX. 14-grandchildren and 12-Great-grandchildren; Four Brothers Alfredo Gomez and wife Connie, Richard Gomez and wife Irene, Domitilo Gomez and wife Rita and Edward Gomez and wife Gracie; Six sisters Frieda Ramon and husband Armando, Martha Gomez, Ester Dudley and husband Joe, Anita Gomez, Nancy Villalobos and Rosa Nicolas.
A Rosary will be held on Wednesday March 22, 2017 at 7:30 PM at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.
Mass will be held on Thursday March 23, 2017 at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in El Paso.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family request donations be made to the Santa Rosa Food Bank at 620 East 4th St. Pecos Texas.
