Graciela S. Jurado

Graciela Santiesteban de Jurado, 69, of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, passed away on April 18, 2025, in Odessa, Texas, at Medical Center Hospital.

Graciela S. Jurado was born in Barrancos de Guadalupe, Chihuahua, Mexico, to José de la Cruz Santiesteban and Dominga Castillo Santiesteban on June 30, 1955.

She was married to Gustavo M. Jurado on March 20, 1984. Graciela was a longtime worker at the Onion Shed. She cared deeply and abundantly for her husband and children.

Graciela is preceded in death by her parents, José de la Cruz and Dominga Santiesteban; her loving husband, Gustavo Jurado; her only loving son, Serjio Jurado; her sister, Guadalupe Urias; and her brothers, Pablo Gutierrez and Gilberto S.

She is survived by her daughters, Lorena Jurado, Maria del Pilar Jurado, Crystal (Miguel Jurado), and Gilda (Jose Vargas); 14 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Dominga (Serjio Peña); Bruno (Hermila Santiesteban), Nabor (Dominga Santiesteban), Jesus “Chuy” (Martha) Santiesteban; Balbina Santiesteban and Socorro Santiesteban.

Pallbearers will be: Gustavo Jurado, Marco Baeza, Luis Hernandez, Roberto Davila, Joe Ray de La Rosa , and Matthew Jurado.

Visitation for Graciela will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Pecos Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m.

A Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Rosa Catholic Church in Pecos, Texas. Burial will follow at Green Wood Cemetery.
