Guadalupe Patino

Guadalupe Anchondo Patino of Pecos, Tx passed away on February 13, 2023 in Pecos, Tx. Lupe was born in Pecos, Tx to Cresencio & Amelia Anchondo on February 9, 1956. She attended Pecos High School. She married Manuel J. Patino Jr. on February 8, 1975. She worked in the dietary kitchen for the Reeves County Hospital for 23 years & retired to a housewife for the past 22 years. She was a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan, her grandchildren were here world & she loved them very much.  She played baseball in her younger days & was a great pitcher. Everyone loved her homemade tortillas & cooking. She was a strong beautiful woman inside & out.

Lupe is preceded in death by her parents Cresencio & Amelia Anchondo. Two brothers Ricardo Anchondo & Roy Anchondo.  Three sisters Cynthia Anchondo, Maria Arenivas & Wilma Bernal.

Lupe is survived by her husband Manuel J. Patino Jr. her Two sons & daughter in-law Jerry Patino, Jeffrey Patino & Eva Patino. Two daughters & son in-law Patricia Patino, Myra Patino & Hector Perez. She has two granddaughters, nine grandsons, six great-granddaughters & two great-grandsons. She has four brothers Chris Anchondo, Jesse Anchondo, Sam Anchondo, Harvey Anchondo & one sister Imelda Anchondo.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Patino, Brandon Patino, Jeffrey Patino, Jeffrey Patino Jr. Jeremiah Prieto, Zyran Kelly, Nathaniel Saenz, Aiden Patino & Joshua Anchondo.

Visitation for Lupe will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Pecos Funeral Home. Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m on Tuesday February 21, 2023, with Father Pablo Matta officiating at the Santa Rosa De Lima Church. Followed by the burial at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the family.
