Guadalupe Payen

Guadalupe Baeza Payen, 63 of Pecos, was called home to be with the Lord on February 27, 2019.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will continue Monday from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm, with a Rosary to be said on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 7:30 pm. Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 10:00 am at Santa Rosa Catholic Church and interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
Guadalupe was born in Ojinaga, Mexico to Guadalupe F. Payen and Maria de Jesus Payen on May 2, 1955 in Pecos. He attended Pecos High School and was retired oilfield operator. He married Paula Payen on September 16, 1994.
Mr. Payen is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Maria de Jesus Baeza Payen.
He is survived by his wife Paula Payen; son Guadalupe B Payen III; daughter, Veronica Payen Olivarri and husband Paul; daughter, Alyssa Payen and husband Rocky Mata; daughter, Angela Morales and husband Jesse; Stepsons, Mario, Gabriel, and Leroy Gonzales; Step Grandson, Oscar Hernandez, Jr.; Step-daughters, Marisol Rodriguez and husband Chris, and Estrella Gonzalez.
He is also survived by his father, Guadalupe F. Payen, and siblings; brothers, Joe Payen and Mario Baeza Payen, sisters; Dulces Payen, Maria Valeriano, and Araceli Payen. Twenty seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren, also survive.
Pallbearers include: Paul Olivarri, Pete Payen, Oscar Hernandez, Mario Gonzalez, Gabriel Gonzalez, and Leroy Gonzalez.
