Gwendolyn Adams

Gwendolyn L. Adams, age 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, TX. She was born March 25, 1925 in La Mesa, NM, to Roy and Gladys (Farris) Lewis. She graduated from Valley High School in La Mesa. On June 4, 1943, Gwen married John W. Adams and had four children, Don, John, Mike and Sharon. She and John loved to travel in there 5th wheel camper, go fishing and enjoy family outings. Gwen's family and the beautiful flowers she grew were the most important things to her. Family reunions with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids were her most cherished times of all. Gwen is preceded in death by her beloved husband John and two sons, John Jr. and Michael. She is survived by two children, Don S. Adams of Buchanan Dam, and her daughter Sharon A. Rosenauer of Bellville. She had eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at the Pecos Funeral Home from 9:00 Am 8:00 PM a Family visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 19, 2018
Graveside services celebrating Gwen's life will take place at Mount Evergreen Cemetery in Pecos at 1:00 pm on Saturday January 20, 2018.
Services are under the direction of Pecos Funeral Home.
