Hope Elizabeth Hefner, 47, of Austin, TX, and Pecos, TX, passed away on January 1, 2014 in Pecos, TX, following a lengthy illness.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 4th, at Aspermont Cemetery in Aspermont, TX, Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.
Hope was born in Arlington, TX on December 7, 1966. She attended William B. Travis High School in Austin, where she was a member of the Rebel cheerleading squad, a member of the Rebelette drill team, and the 1984 homecoming queen. Hope was known for her energy and friendliness. She was also a talented singer.
Hope is preceded in death by grandparents Irene Cupples, Millard Cupples, T.F. Hefner, Sr., and Harvie Greenhaw brother, Joseph Lee Hefner and aunt, Linda ShillingButler.
Hope is survived by son, Chance W. Fincher daughter, Dylan Lee Gonzales mother, Elizabeth Deanna White husband, J.C. father, T.F. Hefner, Jr. wife, Terri brother, Tom Buzzy Hefner wife, Sonya grandmother, Maxine Hefner and two nieces and one nephew: Bree HefnerStephens, Rhea Hefner, and Joseph Hefner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the church or charity of your choice. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Steven Serrano and Reeves County Hospital District nursing staff.
