Ida L. Alvarez

Ida Lyles Alvarez, 77, of Midland, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 in Midland, Texas. Ida was born in Pecos, Texas to Benjamin and Anita B. Lyles on November 7, 1946. She went to school in Pecos, Texas and went on to Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. Ida married Tomas Alvarez Jr. on June 13, 1968 in Pecos, Texas. Ida worked as a secretary for many years she also was on a bowling league for several years. 

Ida Lyles Alvarez is preceded in death by her husband Tomas Alvarez Jr., a brother Benny Lyles of Pecos, a sister Mary Harrison, and her parents Benjamin and Anita B. Lyles.

Ida Lyles Alvarez is survived by her son Marcos Raymond Alvarez.

Pallbearers will be Benji Lyles

Visitation will be held on Monday September 2, 2024 from 9 am to 9 pm with Rosary at 7 pm. at Pecos Funeral Home on 607 W. 3rd. St. in Pecos, Texas. 

Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Catherine's  catholic Church on 1207 S. Plum St. in Pecos, Texas with Interment following at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Pecos, Texas.
