Jerry Wofford

Jerry Arnold Wofford, passed away on August 2, 2022, at his residence in Balmorhea, Tx. He was 67 yrs old.
Jerry was born on January 10, 1955 to John Smith Wofford and Opal Gertrude (White) Wofford in Pecos, Tx. He attended schools in Pecos, graduating from Pecos High School in 1973. Upon graduating he then attended Sul Ross State University in Alpine receiving a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science. Jerry owned & operated trucks hauling cattle and grain.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.

Jerry is survived by his son, Liberty Wofford & his wife Valerie & 3 children; older brother Johnny Wofford & his wife Rusty, three children & three grandchildren; his middle brother Jimmy & his wife Cay, two children & 3 grandchildren.

Ashes will be spread at the old Wofford Farm (southwest corner) near Verhalen, Tx where he grew up on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 10:00 am.
