Jesse “Keto” Silvas, 74, of Pecos, a beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Grandfather gained his wings on May 9, 2023 in Pecos, Texas. He was a mechanic all his life. He retired from the Pecos Volunteer Fire department after 32 years of service, where he was awarded the 2008 & 2012 Firefighter of the Year. He loved to hunt, go to the casino, watch WWE Wrestling and Western Movies. He loved his Dallas Cowboys and he loved playing with his grandkids. He was a great, kind-hearted, loving man and was loved by many. He would give the shirt on his back if you needed it and never ask for anything in return. He was the jack of all trades.

Jesse is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Becky Silvas; three sons, Jesse Abila (Becky) of Odessa, TX, James Silvas (Jodi) of Haslet, Texas and Jason Silvas of Pecos, daughter Nancy Mariscal (Manuel) of Grand Prairie, TX; two sisters Cecilia Varela (Ray) of Pecos, and Melissa Lara of Odessa; seven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
