Jesus Ramos Franco, 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at home on Friday, February 12, 2016, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He was born in Pecos, TX on August 15, 1946 to Francisco and Rosalia Franco. This is where he met the love of his life, Mary Esparza, and married her on July 22, 1967.
He was a very happy, go-lucky person who never met a stranger. He had a very infectious smile and laugh. He was known as the "Handyman of Pecos" whom was always eager to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He was the type of person who never judged or talked bad of anyone. Everyone was his friend from old to young. His family was his life and they loved him very much. He will most definitely be missed by everyone. Everyone who knew him knows the type of man he was. There are not enough words or time to describe him.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, of 48 years. Daughters, Jessica Garcia (Robert) and Sandra Ramirez (Mario) of Odessa, Tx, daughters and son, Diana Franco, Michelle Hernandez (Jackie), Lori Franco (Glen) and Shane Franco (Veronica) all of Pecos, Tx, son, Bruce Lee Franco (Becky) of Midland, Tx, daughter, Valerie Franco (Gabriel) of Midland, Tx, daughter, Melanie Bejarano (James) of Lubbock, Tx 28 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his brothers and sister, Ramon Franco, Martin Franco and Estefana (Chita) Franco of Pecos, TX, sister, Francisca Ramirez of Carlsbad, NM and Ventura Franco of California.
He Is preceded in death by his parents and a great grandson.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons: Nicholas Franco, Zacchary Ramirez, Robbie Garcia, Matthew Fierro, Shane Anthony Franco, Alec Granado, Bruce Lee Franco, Jr, Bryce Granado and Mandito Ortega.
Honorary pallbearers will be his remaining grandchildren.
