Joe Lopez

Joe Larry Lopez "Joe Bear", 65, of Pecos, passed away on April 17, 2023 in Pecos, Tx. Visitation will be held on Monday April 24, 2023 from 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm, with Rosary starting at 7:00 pm at Pecos Funeral Home. Funeral will also be held at Pecos Funeral Home on Tuesday April 25, 2023 at 10:00 am with Sergio Zubeldia of Abundant Life Church officiating. Burial to follow at Greenwood cemetery.

Joe was born in Pecos, Tx to David Palomino and Chole Lopez on March 27, 1958. Joe graduated from Pecos High School in 1976. He was a hard working, God-fearing man and the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan you'd ever know. He was an active member of the Abundant Life Church and an even more active grandfather to his 11 grandchildren. Anyone that knew Joe, knew his grandkids were his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents David & Chole Palomino, his brothers David, Mike, Alfred, and sister Mary.

He is survived by his daughter Samantha Lopez and spouse Christian Delgado of Midland, Tx. Son, Jake Lopez and spouse Kristy of Pecos, Tx. Daughter, Tara Lopez and spouse Dario out of Pecos, Tx. Brothers Raul Palomino, Fatz Abila, Ruben Palomino, Robert Palomino and sister Becky Silvas and 11Grand children

Pallbearers will be Raul Palomino Jr., David Palomino III, James Silvas, Joel Baeza, Harvey Herrera, Robert Florez,Ray Orona & Alvaro Hinojos
