Joe (Godie) Martinez, 70 of Pecos passed away Monday, March 28, 2022 in Odessa, Tx. Joe was born September 17, 1951 to Juan and Alicia. He has been married to his longtime wife Socorro for 51 years.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Alicia. Two brothers Enrique Martinez and Hector Chavez.
Joe is survived by his wife Socorro; sons Gabriel and Crissy Martinez; Gilbert Martinez; one daughter Angela and Ramiro Canales; four grandsons Alex, Christopher, Matthew, and Nathaniel Martinez; one granddaughter Julianna Martinez; 2 great granddaughters Bella and Kinslee Morales; 5 sisters; 7 brothers.
Pallbearers will be Alex Morales, Christopher Martinez, Matthew Martinez, Nathaniel Martinez, Gerald Martinez, and Sammy Chavez.
The family of Joe wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Medical Center Hospital and Madison Medical Resort.
