Joel Villanueva

Joel S Villanueva 71, of Pecos Texas passed away on Nov. 19, 2019 at his residence in Pecos.

Visitation will be held on Monday Nov 25,2019 from 9:00 am to 9:00 PM at Pecos Funeral Home.

Rosary will be held on Monday Nov. 23, 2019 at 7:30 PM at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.

Mass will be held on Tuesday Nov. 26, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Joel S. Villanueva was born in Vado-De-Piedra, Mexico to Manuel and Donicia Villanueva on July 28, 1948. Joel worked as a welder for Penzoil until it closed down in 1998.

Joel Villanueva was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of the Santa Rosa De Lima Church and was a devoted Cowboy Fan.

Joel is preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Donicia Villanueva and a younger brother Ruben Villanueva.

Joel Villanueva is survived by Virginia Villanueva; 4: sons; Michael Granado, Joey and wife Denise Villanueva, Isaac and wife Cessylia Vilanueva, and Patrick and wife Ivi Villanueva. Brothers Isreal ( Rodey) Villanueva and David Villanueva. Sisters Rosemary Chabarria and Anita Prieto. Joel Villanueva AKA Rambo A.K.A Pops will be missed dearly by his 15 grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.
