Jonah Sergio Delgado Jr. made his way to eternal paradise peacefully in his sleep on the early morning of August 19, 2021. Jonah means “miracle to the world”, and he lived his entire life giving direct meaning to his name. He was born on December 22, 1990, prematurely to Sergio and Lupita Delgado. Doctors would say Jonah would not live to see one year, 5 years, 10 years, and so on. Jonah lived 30 full years of life, bringing nothing but joy and unconditional love to his family. He had the largest smile that could light up a room and a great gigantic laugh that could make a person’s day. All it would take to get both out of Jonah was to sing him “Happy Birthday” or the Barney “I Love You” song. Though Jonah couldn’t have children of his own, he was the Godfather of his six nieces and nephews. Faith, Hope, Jose Ramon, Chosen, Heavens, and Nicanor Jonah.
He is survived by his parents, 6 Godchildren, 11 tias and tios, and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Nicanor and Marcela Fierro, and Lino and Celia Delgado. Pallbearers will be Edward Licon, Nicholas Natividad, Nydia Natividad, Nathalia Natividad, Robert Hernandez, and David Hernandez.
