Jose Barraza

Jose "Joe" Barraza went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 11, 2019 in Pecos, Texas. He was 64 years old. He was born May 17, 1954 in Pecos, Texas to the late Lino and Claudia (Chala) Barraza. Joe was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 13th from 5 - 9:00 pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home. Rosary will be Thursday, February 14th at 7:30 pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home and Funeral will be Friday, February 15th at 10:00 am at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with interment at Greenwood Cemetary.
He is preceded in death by his Father Lino Barraza Sr., Mother Claudia (Chala) Barraza, his brothers, Hector Barraza, Gilbert Barraza and Jones Burke.
Those left to cherish his love and memories are his wife: Virginia Barraza of Pecos, TX, his children: Lisa Lopez and Husband Raul of Houston, Texas, Yvonne Patino & Husband Jesus of Pecos, Tx. His grandsons: Jonathan Joe Barraza, Joshua Barraza, Jay Barraza and Jared Navarrette all of Houston, Tx and Isaiah Patino of Pecos, Tx. His granddaughters: Julissa Patino & Ytalia Rey Patino of Pecos, Tx and Ariana Lopez of Houston, Tx. His brother Lino Barraza Jr & Wife Alma of Pecos, Tx, Sisters: Elodia Barraza of Pecos, Tx and Bertha Arteaga & Husband Jimmy of Arizona. Jose is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be: Joshua Barraza, Jay Barraza, Jared Navarrette, David Christopher Barraza, Aaron Garcia & Pete Vasquez Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Ruben Tarango & Thomas Chavez.
